I am a native English speaker from the UK and a CELTA qualified English teacher with over 10 years experience of teaching online.
My lessons & teaching style
I enjoy meeting new people and helping students develop their speaking skills, and I believe that classes can be serious and challenging but still enjoyable and not stressful. I am a patient and friendly tutor.
I have a large supply of exam materials to prepare you for IELTS and Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE). I also offer general English classes including grammar revision and conversation.
Because of my extensive experience I am usually able to create a course for your specific needs, such as preparing for an exam, an interview, a presentation or a new job.
My classes focus on speaking and communication backed up by homework and correction.
I have taught in many different learning environments in the UK, USA, Japan and Spain including language schools, training programmes, company classes, summer schools and private classes. Since 2018 I have been teaching exclusively online.
